1.NBT.C.6 Subtract multiples of 10 in the range 10-90 from multiples of 10 in the range 10-90 (positive or zero differences), using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction; relate the strategy to a written method and explain the reasoning used.
Counting Backwards Students will subtract on a number line and choose the correct number. Then they will record their answers on the recording sheet. (Color and B&W version included)
If, Then Students will get one number sentence then use that same sentence to subtract by multiples of ten. They will then record the answer on the recording sheet. (Color and B&W version included)
Subtracting Dimes Students subtract dimes (multiples of 10). They will then record their answer on their recording sheet. (Color and B&W version included)
Subtract Multiples of Ten Students will subtract multiples of 10. They will then record the answer on the recording sheet. (Color and B&W version included)
Subtracting Base Ten Students will subtract base ten blocks. They will then record the answer on the recording sheet. (Color and B&W version included)
Ten Less Students will subtract ten from the given number. They will then record yes or no the number on their recording sheet. (Color and B&W version included)
